Day 5: Prayers for physical and emotional healing

Healing is for the children of God because Jesus has already paid the price for it on the Cross.

“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.” I Peter 2:24
The price was paid at the same time as the price for your sins. God did not leave us with sicknesses and take away only our sins, He took our sins AND sicknesses. Today, we are declaring the Word of God over our sicknesses, both physical and emotional. Also, we would be declaring healing over everyone that attends the Throne Room Encounter Meeting, that no one would leave the meeting with their sicknesses; there would be healing for everyone.

1. Father, I worship you today with all of my life and everything I am. I know that according to your Word, you are taking sickness away from my life, my family’s life and from everyone who attends the Throne Room Encounter meeting. Our worship leads to miraculous and permanent healings in Jesus name. “Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,” Exodus 23:25 NIV

2. Lord I thank you for saving my soul and I know you paid the price for my sicknesses at the same time you paid the price for my sins. I declare that because I have been set free from the power of sin at salvation, I am also set free from sicknesses in any shape or form in my life and that of my family in Jesus name. I also declare that everyone that walks into the Throne Room Encounter meeting is also healed in Jesus name as you have paid the price for their sins. “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 NKJV. 

3. In addition, Isaiah 53:5 proves that Jesus bore the price for my peace and I declare that all forms of emotional torment that has withdrawn my peace bows to the name of Jesus. I have peace because Jesus already paid the price for it. Hallelujah!

4. I declare healing over every broken heart that comes for the Throne Room Encounter meeting in Jesus name. “He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3 NIV

5. “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.” Acts 10:38. Jesus healed ALL who were under the power of the devil. We speak to every life coming to the Throne Room Encounter Meeting and we declare that they are free from every power of the enemy causing diseases in their bodies in Jesus name.6. For every one coming to the Throne Room Encounter meeting with a spirit of heaviness and those with deep sadness, according to Isaiah 61:3; we decree a garment of praise over them and the Holy Spirit pours His oil of joy over their lives in Jesus name. No more depression and sadness in Jesus name! We prophesy that the meeting would be a meeting overflowing with the joy of the Lord!!

Day 2: Fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit

Today, we are praying for a fresh outpouring of the Spirit on ourselves and on everyone who attends the Throne Room Encounter meetings. As believers, we need the Holy Spirit to empower us to do the work of the Father and we need to ensure we are constantly filled with the Holy Spirit just like the Apostles were always in the book of Acts.

The Holy Spirit does the following:

  1. Teaches us all things (John 14:26)
  2. Gives us power to overcome sin (Galatians 5:16)
  3. Guides us in all truth (John 16:13)
  4. Gives us the power and boldness to witness Jesus (Acts 1:8)
  5. Helps us to pray (Romans 8:26)

In the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. On My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood, fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Acts 2:17-21

  1. Lord we ask today for a fresh filling and baptism of the Holy Spirit on my life and that of everyone attending the Throne Room Encounter meetings and let there be a break out of fresh revelation, prophecies, visions and dreams in Jesus name.
  2. Let your Holy Spirit open the eyes of the ministers, volunteers and intercessors (that is YOU) to know the answers to longstanding problems and circumstances in their lives in Jesus name
  3. Holy Spirit, teach me to pray in this season and always. Help me to pray the will of the Father and not pray amiss in Jesus name.
  4. Oh Lord, the confusion that has been blocking my eyes from seeing the path you have created for me is cleared off today in Jesus name. I will hear your voice and know the direction to take in Jesus name. (Isaiah 30:20-21)
  5. Pray for a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Yemisi Vese and all the other ministers at the Throne Room Encounter meeting for signs and wonders in Jesus name.

Day 1: Prayers to strengthen our inner man

Today, our prayer theme is for Strength in our Inner man based on the following scripture:

 “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,” Ephesians 3:16-18 NIV

This is for the work of the Spirit in our hearts to be manifested.

  • Father, release the spirit of the fear of God into my heart. Strike my heart with greater understanding of Your majesty that I may live in awe before You. Unite my heart to Your heart and Word, and cause me to delight in the fear of God.
    1. I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. (Jer. 32:40)
    2. Unite my heart to fear Your name. (Ps. 86:11)
  • Father, strengthen my heart with endurance, that I may faithfully do Your will with zeal and diligence and never draw back in any way in my pursuit of the deeper things of Your heart and will. Give me endurance to fast regularly. Direct my heart into the patience, or endurance, in which Jesus walked (2 Thess. 3:5). Give me strength to follow through in my commitments to You and to fulfill my ministry calling even when it is difficult or small.
    1. Being strengthened with all power…so that you may have great endurance and patience. (Col. 1:11, NIV)
  • Father, pour out Your love in my heart by the Spirit that I may overflow in love back to You and to others (Rom. 5:5). Impart Your own love for Jesus into my heart (Jn. 17:26).
    Allow me to comprehend Jesus’s love for me (Jn. 15:9; 3:18). Let me see myself through Your eyes so that I may love who You created me to be (Ps. 139:13-15).

    1. The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 5:5)
    2. May the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another. (1 Thes. 3:12)
  • Father, I commit to live as a “person of one thing.” Help me to sit regularly at Your feet to behold Your beauty as David and Mary of Bethany did. Strengthen my desire in this, and help me to maintain a lifestyle of regular time with You in Your Word. When I lose this focus, get my attention and send Your Word to deliver me of a divided heart.
    1. One thing I have desired…all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord…
      (Ps. 27:4)
    2. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part. (Lk. 10:42)
  • Father, strengthen my heart so that I walk in a measure of faith and obedience that is worthy of who You are and of Your calling on my life. Help me to walk worthy of You by escaping all compromise. Prepare me to walk in the highest things You have called me to. Help me to live free of the snare of compromise so that I will walk blamelessly so to stand before You victoriously with the testimony that I sought to obey You with all my heart.
    1. We pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power. (2 Thes. 1:11)
    2. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things…to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36
  • Father, set a guard over my lips and help me to speak words that are pleasing to You. Free me from defensive, angry, foolish, sensual, or impure speech. Keep me from quenching the Spirit with my words. I set my heart not to sin with my speech.
    1. Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips. (Ps. 141:3)
    2. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight. (Ps. 19:14)
    3. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. (Jas 3:2)
  • Jesus, teach me how to walk in Your yoke of humility (lowliness of heart). I set my heart to learn humility from You, gaining insight that will result in the transformation of my attitudes, speech, and actions. Give me wisdom about how to carry my heart in humility.
    1. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. 5Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ… (Phil. 2:3-5)
  • Father, give me insight into Your Word, will, and ways. Give me wisdom about how to walk in intimacy with You in every area of my life, including my finances, schedule, emotions, physical body (diet, health), relationships (home, office, ministry), future, fears, etc. What are You thinking and feeling about me and my life, city, nation, and generation?
    1. …to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will [insight] in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God…. (Col. 1:9-10)
    2. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit…He will teach you all things… (Jn. 14:26)
  • Father, strengthen my heart with supernatural peace in areas in which I feel rejection, fear, or anxiety; strengthen my mind so I may overcome turmoil, confusion, and indecision.
    1. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing… (Rom. 15:13)
    2. The peace of God…will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:7)
